Meet Ronald

Brought up in the DMV, Ronald Benson-El Jr is a multiskilled artist who has developed his Acting, Dancing, Singing, and Specialty Movement Skills over the course of many years. Starting his training at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in the Theatre Program, he graduated and was accepted to the BFA Acting Conservatory program at SUNY Purchase College in New York. There Ronald further honed his skills under some of the best artistic instructors of the time. Ronald’s most recent acting work includes some of his Rep shows at Purchase: Blood Wedding, Marisol, Colored Museum, and As You Like It in which he was cast as the lead role Orlando. Ronald is excited to begin his career after graduation and take on the challenges of the industry to make a name for himself in the field that he loves. In addition to his acting, Ronald also has a passion for fight choreography and stunt work. Ronald’s background of Taekwondo, gymnastics, and ballet laid the groundwork for his physical prowess and his passion for the “cool stuff” that he so enjoys. This passion even allowed Ronald to fulfill his dream of competing on the national television show American Ninja Warrior during the Season 11 Baltimore Qualifier Course. Ronald is a fortunate individual who has gotten to travel to many different places around the world with his family such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Cancun, Beijing, and Jamaica. He devotes his craft to his family and friends who have helped and supported him in all he loves to do.
